Relief lifeboats at Skegness

From time to time, our permanent station lifeboats Lincolnshire Poacher and Peterborough Beer Festival IV have to go away for repair, maintenance or major overhaul. The RNLI maintains a fleet of relief lifeboats to stand in at stations when their own lifeboat is away.

Skegness has seen many of the Oakley, Mersey and D class relief lifeboats. This page lists as many as we can remember and/or have information about.
