All-weather lifeboat Joel and April Grunnill tasked to give assistance to a 34ft yacht with 3 persons on board suffering from a fouled propeller, under sail only. Wind conditions were very light and the vessel was very close to the busy shipping area around the Humber.

The vessel was located some way to the East of Donna Nook south of the river Humber.

The vessel was taken under tow to Grimsby fish dock where it was met by members of Cleethorps Coastguard team. After safely mooring the yacht the lifeboat made its way back out to the shipping channel and returned to Skegness, arriving back at central beach at 4pm.
