D-538 Tom Broom

Relief lifeboat

Long-term relief inshore lifeboat D-538 Tom Broom was put on station at Skegness in early 2009 following the withdrawal to the training fleet of Leicester Fox II.

The lifeboat was funded by an appeal by the Stamford branch of the RNLI and had previously served at Stranraer lifeboat station from 1998-2008 before joining the relief fleet.
