Skegness Central Beach has again been awarded both the Blue Flag award and the Seaside Award in 2015 - one of only 31 beaches in the country to hold both awards.

The lifeboat station is at the end of Tower Esplanade, next to the beach, and RNLI lifeguards have been stationed on the beach since 2009.

RNLI lifeguards will be on duty on Skegness beach every day during the 2014 season, from 10am to 6pm, from Saturday 23 May until Sunday 6 September 2015 (inclusive).
