Skegness beach again a Blue Flag and Seaside Award winner
Just days before RNLI lifeguards are set to resume their service at Skegness, the beach has again been awarded the Blue Flag and 2015 Seaside Award.

The Blue Flag Award is the international quality mark for beaches. The prestigious award scheme acts as a guarantee to everyone that a beach is among the finest not only in the country, but globally.

They are only awarded to coastal destinations that boast the highest quality of water, facilities, safety, environmental education and management.

The Seaside Award Keep Britain Tidy's award for the beaches that meet the very highest standards for cleanliness and facilities  has also been awarded to Skegness beach for the 2015 season.

Around the country, just 31 beaches have been awarded both accolades.
